About us
.MORE THAN JUST A JERSEY
The Spark (Oct 2021) It started with a simple text from my friend Disha, who was living in Australia. She asked the standard question: "Do you need anything from here?" My brain didn't hesitate. It snapped back instantly: "The 2003 World Cup Jersey. Brett Lee."
That request didn't just send me on a search for a shirt; it sent me searching for a feeling I had lost. For years, I had been an introvert desperately looking for a piece of the era that defined me. I grew up absolutely hating the Aussies for obvious reasons, but I respected their fire. I wanted that fire back.
The Nostalgia We didn't just watch cricket; we lived it. The aggression of Brett Lee. The dominance of Ponting. The magic of Sachin. The flair of Yuvraj and Sourav. I’m talking about the aura of Flintoff, Murali, and Sangakkara. The brilliance of Dilshan, Gibbs, and Graeme Smith. And do you remember Andre Nel? What a crackhead! what a character. These weren't just players; they were the architects of our childhood. I wanted their names on my back not just to support a team, but because their spirit shaped my personality. I wanted to feel "at home" in my own skin.
The Problem But there was a glitch. To begin with, the specific '03 India Tri-Colour jersey I craved was a ghost it didn't exist in the market. I started buying what was available. I own the 2011, 2015, 2019, and 2023 World Cup jerseys. But whenever I wore them out, I faced the same interrogation: "Aaj match hai kya?" . The jersey felt like a costume, not a lifestyle. The designs were dated, and the prints felt heavy. I realized that while my passion for the game was timeless, the apparel was stuck in the past. I wanted the spirit of 2003, but with the cool, effortless vibe of modern streetwear.
The Turn Then came the AI wave. Suddenly, my dream had a visual voice. I used tools to visualize designs that captured my inner strength without being too loud. Trust me, ChatGPT was my best friend during those days. It pushed me daily: "Find a real manufacturer. Give them the design. Just try it once." So, on a random lunch break, I called a few numbers I found online. After a lot of struggle, I found one manufacturer who actually listened, Understood my passion. He understood what players like Flintoff and Ricky Ponting meant to me. And when he showed me his half-inspired samples, I knew he was the one.
The Gamble So, I did what my heroes would have done. I took the strike. I emptied my mutual funds. I took the savings I had scraped together over 5-6 years of the corporate grind and put it all into this dream. I traded the security of a paycheck for the risk of a lifetime.
The Reality This isn't a faceless corporation. We are an OPC (One Person Company). When you order from us, you aren't talking to a bot. The research, the sourcing, the struggle with the post office it’s all me. I know you might think this is all automated AI work, but trust me, it is a lonely road. Sometimes it is difficult. Sometimes the passion drops. But I promise you this: I will deliver this apparel with the same intensity that I carry for the game.
The Mission To build a brand for the guys who have a quiet, strong place in their heart for cricket. For the die-hards whose mood and day depend on the match result. To create gear that speaks the truth, even when you are in doubt.
Inspired by my oldest childhood memories, my scrapbook, and my love for the game.
Prafful
I spent years looking for peace in the real world, only to realize I left it back on the 22 yards. This brand is my return. It is my way of anchoring my soul in the game that gave me my purest joy.
Thankyou.
